You know Expat, that you are one respected contributor here, you are liked and loved by many. I cannot advise you to stay or leave, that decision is solely up to you. But perhaps I could advise you to think it over while you have another drink... :)

As this Forum will grow, and it will, people from all over will eventually join. People with different mindsets, different beliefs, different ideologies, different cultures. What makes Hernando's different from the rest out there is our way of handling discussions, debates and situations. It might get bumpy once in a while but which road isn't?

I think it's a great opportunity to learn. Even if it's just learning to agree to disagree... :)

I will respect your decision no matter what it is. That's what friends do.

Thanks all ..... and to make it perfectly clear to all the ONLY one who pissed me off with their arrogant bible thumping holy roller attitude is saylesie17 ...... seen far too damn many of that type over the years to know that they DO NOT change and are incapable of discourse in a civilized manner without being condescending hypocritical adorables unable to accept any viewpoints outside what their little book of fairytales tells them ..... once one shows up more follow behind them ...... not worth sticking around to get preached at and looked down on by arrogant little adorables who believe primitive barbaric superstion rules all ..... Ive never liked fanatics of any sort and the worst offenders always been those of the abrahamic religions with their murderous ways ....... was married to a wonderful irish lass and ran clinic in NI during the troubles ...... she ended up raped and murdered by group of the damn catholic men ...... I got payback in hunted each and every one of the men who did it down and sent them to meet their figment of the imagination ..... that combined with what witnessed firsthand over the years and the people I put back together that suffered at hands of those of the abrahamic faiths has given me a deep loathing of them and a distrust of them ...... I will not tolerate being preached to nor told Im wrong for not believing and not wanting anything to do with their damn barbaric religion and murderous figment of the imagination .....

My policy always been live and let live ..... however some in this world push too damn much ..... I wont be pushed ....... and to avoid upsetting and offending everyone else here whom I do respect and view as brothers and sisters its better if I go walkabout before the rest of the damn religous zealots show up and things get very very ugly .......


I may ghost and read from time to time just to keep up but will not be posting any longer ......

I am saying this as a member and not a Moderator. Nor will I Moderate this thread after stating the following.

Like you, I say things as I mean them. So here goes my critique. You seem quick to anger when it comes to any abrahamic religion, and wishing death to all followers, yet still give the eastern religions and their extremist idiots a pass. Yes, ALL religions and cultures have their fair share of idiots. Usually the larger the populace, the more idiots they have. It's a percentage thing after all.

Some political ideologies make me want to react as you did back there, and they have before at times. For the most part, I can walk away though before I go ballistic. When you talk to and end in a argument with some who is proselytizing their faith, religious or political, know this... You have already ceded the high ground to them by letting them choose the battleground where you engage them. Ignoring them however drives them nuts as they then see they have no impact on you. 

Take your walkabout, chill out, ghost and find your center again.
