Well crapola on a cracker. THIS is a threat Iran actually COULD deliver on. Some nations built Air Forces. Some nations built great Navies or vast land Armies. Iran has done none of these things to any notable degree, as late night comedy shows have noted plenty. What they HAVE done is put 35 years of time into amassing quantity and developmental quality of missile forces, in leiu of those vast branches other nations pride themselves on. Iron dome is powerful ...but Iranian salvos have the numbers and the range to be far MORE powerful if they went full tilt with it.
My take above is part opinion, part educated estimate by the research and depth I put into my Iran series at TOS. They, like the Chinese, love to dig. A good % of Iran is rugged mountain terrain with endless and countless canyons or valleys. I'd hate to even be in the room at a U.S. Missile defense center if Iran started seriously launching war time salvos. No amount of Excedrin would be enough, I'm guessing...
..and this nonsense came over a misprint and misquote!
Umm... Iran and their proxy forces HARDLY avoid civilian casualties. The pot can't call the kettle black and have it both ways on this one. Israel gets to hit ammo dumps and rocket launch sites ..and it's the rebels/jihadis/guerrilla forces who take 100% of the blame if they launch from a point next to civilian facilities. Even CHILDREN know counter-battery fire will fire right back down the line of trajectory to crater where it came from. That is all Israel seems to be saying here?
I don't see Netanyahu being this far into warmongering, let alone his underlings ..and even if they were? That kind of thing wouldn't get said at home, in the shower, to themselves....with music playing. lol.... Laugh test: Fail

Yup...they probably do have it, too. What they need more than missiles are brains. A little critical thinking to deduce Israel isn't having a collective "We all wanna die!!!" moment to basically start a war by words, would help.
This are the "trustworthy" "partners" we are negotiating with for "peace" through nuclear technology? Oh..golly..what could EVER go wrong here?
Iranian officials have been thrown into a fit over distorted comments attributed to Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon that have swept across the internet and include popular anti-Israel sites.
A report by Iran's Fars news agency on Wednesday claimed that the defense minister supposedly said “We are going to hurt Lebanese civilians to include kids of the family. We went through a very long deep discussion … we did it then, we did it in [the] Gaza Strip, we are going to do it in any round of hostilities in the future,” while speaking at an unnamed "conference in Jerusalem."

The quote was most likely based on Ya'alon's comments from the May 5 Shurat Hadin conference. He was recounting targeting decisions in which he was involved when it first became apparent that Hezbollah was purposely placing weapons in civilian homes in Lebanon. He said that “If we don’t intercept the rocket-launchers in advance, civilians will be hurt, if not killed. If we hit the launchers, it will hurt or kill Lebanese civilians.” He said a “long, deep discussion” regarding the “moral and legal considerations” took place before the final decision to strike the rocket launcher.

Another quote attributed to Ya'alon, for which a basis could not be found, claimed that Israel would act "as the Americans did in 'Nagasaki and Hiroshima, causing at the end the fatalities of 200,000.'"

In response, Iranian Major General Rahim Safavi threatened Israel with violence, saying that "the Zionists and the US are aware of the power of Iran and Hezbollah, and they know that over 80,000 (Iranian) missiles are ready to rain down on Tel Aviv and Haifa."
