Another finger in the eye for the Obama administration. Russia is offering financial sanctuary and money to make this transition. This is just another interesting development in the ongoing Greek financial fiasco.
Not only are they creating a new world banking system but also a financial clearing system of there own excluding the US from knowing what they are doing with their money and financial transactions. One of the Edward Snowden's revelations was the US ability to monitor financial transactions through the US swift system of clearing. This allowed the US to know the financial dealings of any countries transactions world wide instantly. Tsk Tsk this will go away soon once the Chinese get their CIPS system in place which will be their version of the Swift system.
"Greece has been invited to become a member of the development bank of the BRICS economies, including Russia and China, which is seeking to become a counterweight to the IMF, a government source said Monday.
The invitation came during a telephone conversation between Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Russia's deputy finance minister Sergei Storchak, the government source said in a note to the media."

"The BRICS -- Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa -- had announced last July that they were creating a new bank, based in Shanghai, aimed at financing major infrastructure projects in emerging countries. But it was also seen as a move to shake up global economic governance, dominated by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank."
