We're a war-like species.

Regardless of where we live, what we do, what we learn, what we say. . .

Peace and tranquility has never happened. Probably will never happen.

Religions say that one is right and all others are wrong.
Ideology states that one is right, all others are wrong.
Nationalities state that one is right, all others are wrong.

To say that "haters gonna hate", is putting it mildly. We are only 3 warm meals away from living in caves, beating each other over the head with clubs, and making potty in the bushes.

We are not civilized. We are mearly "tamed".

Humanity is feral but is tempered with idle comforts. Remove the comforts and we return to our basest nature.

It doesn't matter what culture, what upbringing you have or have encountered.

We are a mean, vicious, cruel species. We understand the concepts of love, forgiviness, understanding and peace but refuse to embrace it.

Just look at the dichotomy in the west. On thursday, people will gather and give thanks. On friday, they will beat each other sensless in order to save 5 dollars on a printer.

And people wonder why aliens don't want to communicate with us.
