I like the attitude, but why should your body hate you? No one else does. You don't really want to hear about the aches and pains of an old man, do you? Then why not distract us with your problems? We'll poke around for some advice or sympathy.
My body hates me, but I intend to fight to the death!
Why, What's going on,,,,,Can you talk about it? I'm a pretty good listener and I'm a Acupuncturist and Herbalist and I believe in Ancestral Assisted healing throw Meditation and Relaxation.

I am old enough to finally know why my grandparents loved quiet time and naps! I would love to go full steam all day, but the old body seems a little low on fuel.
I am trying really hard to adjust to aging, and to do it gracefully, but when you're out in public and discover a 10" hair growing out of some ungodly place- like your forehead, or left nostril- the 'graceful' part becomes more challenging!
I have developed a closer relationship with gravity these past few years, too. It will pull me down at the most inopportune moments!
I will admit to having an appreciation for arthritis, though. It's annoying, but I always know when the weatherman is WRONG! If my foot hurts, it will cloud up and likely rain. If my leg hurts, a huge storm front is on the way. This 'gift' really comes in handy when we're planning camping trips or picnics. :)
Now, where's my coffee? The first cup is complimentary, right? (rofl)

I heard a woman knows when she is 'officially' old when she has to start putting her bra on one leg at a time.
I will not discuss whether or not it is official in my case.

Seems like I came across a thread on some TOS or somewhere about type 2 diabetes being cured with homeopathic supplements. I have a friend who'd be interested. Anyone have a link?
I have dealt with Type 2 for a couple of decades, and being one who has a lot more faith in natural medicine versus modern chemistry, I have done a lot of homework. I don't think there's anything I haven't tried!
In my experience, all I ever found was snake oil. Proper diet- being very strict about eating at the same time every day, and not going over the prescribed amount of calories and carbs- is the only way to keep even blood sugar levels.
It was VERY hard to come to terms with the fact that I could no longer have a huge piece of birthday cake, or stuff myself on Thanksgiving, but I really dislike the awful way I feel when my blood sugar runs amok.
Maybe cinnamon, or any of the other natural 'cures' can help some, but none of them had an effect for me, or any of the other diabetics I know. @@airen,
Ahhh yes Nugget, the dreaded hair. They do seem to magically unfurl in an instant. If only the hair on my head grew that fast. I've come to think of them as wishing hairs. Just make a wish and pull.
Speaking to the naps, my grandfather was a nap master. He could sit down anywhere at any time and be asleep in an instant. He would say that he just needed three minutes and would be refreshed. I unfortunately do not possess this incredible talent.

The article I'm sort of recalling was a newer one . . . I forget what other natural supplement stuff was included. But it was an atypical result, for sure. I should have a shortcut link to it somewhere. Will keep looking by and by.
At a fancy dinner at the univ in China . . . I sat somewhat near the VP, IIRC.
When the turtle came around again . . . the VP, who, it turned out hated me . . . mostly because I was American . . . acted all gracious about insisting I take the tail and butt hole last piece.
I graciously accepted all smilingly . . . partly because I had no clue I'd just been unroyally insulted by the VP. LOL.
At least I didn't get the chicken head pointed at me. LOL.

My mind tells me it's consciousness has been poured into a pathetic meat machine and deposited in a hostile dimension.
Trying to follow this thread but having trouble so maybe some of that consciousness missed the meat machine when it was poured in. The only other thing I can think of is that we are still biologically unfinished (evolved) which causes all the physical and mental issues.
