Wow! That is horrible and some serious damage. I am so glad that you and your family are okay! We get tornadoes here once in a while like that and both of the more recent ones by us have had damage like in your pictures and then there was our yard with no damage at all and just a few stray small branches that got blown into the yard. It is amazing how the paths run with these. I'm just really glad you guys are okay.
Nyiah , thats crazy i miss that weather being the fact that i come from a latent state is infamous for hurricanes there haa not been squat lately and its driving me crazy great photos by the way i suck at taking photos..

Nugget , we were surprised nothing fell on our property at all. We expected at least the dead trunks of a maple in the backyard to come down (Looks like 3 saplings melded together a long time ago, 2 trunks are dead now, one's hollow at the base) Those wouldn't have hit anything other than maybe a fence, plenty of room. We were bummed at the lack of free wood to store & season for future fireplace use, lol
Glencairn , I remember you mentioning that, just a few months back, wasn't it? I think that batch was expected to mosey up our way, but I don't remember if it did (it probably did, though milder)
atf1886 , insane, isn't it? 10 years since anything other than a TS impacted FL, what a lucky stretch. But nobody wants a repeat of the hurricane train that was Charley/Frances/Jeanne down there, that was awful all around. Still can't believe how much of Punta Gorda was wiped off the face of the planet, that was shocking.
There's a few local news galleries that I found with additional pictures (mine really are mild damage next to some others) here and here, The official confirmed count is 6 tornadoes - 2 F0's and 4 F1's.
Quick edit: The second link has a picture of the mobile home in the road I spoke of, it's #16. That's wild. Already seen it on the news, but that's just wild still.
Nyiah, i keep your family in my prayers weather is nuckingfuts this year has been hotter and crazier im waiting for a cat 5!!! I dont doubt that weather modification has caused this...
It was just a couple of months ago that we had a tornado here, and one that was also really close a summer or two ago and in both of them we got incredibly lucky and had no damage at all and just had some small branches that blew into the yard and even those were small and manageable and not partial tree type branches. I definitely know the relief of going out to assess the damage and finding out that you had damage all around you in all directions and your yard hardly even had any loose leaves or branches.
