Would you like to see a real, live exorcism?
One guy was walking by Roman Catholic Church in in Vranov nad Dyji in February and heard a woman screaming and swearing. The door had a large key hole, so he looked through it and saw that an exorcism was taking place. He recorded the scene with his cellphone and put it on a You Tube video.
It sounds real enough. And, yes, I've always been curious about exorcisms, but that would freak me out if I was at that service! Happy to sit here and watch it on video.
After Trochta posted the video, some parishioners and town residents questioned its authenticity and complained about the noise and possible danger. Local priest Father Marek Dunda finally confirmed that the video was real and implied that he was the exorcist or at least present during the ceremony.
We were asking God to protect and to liberate the person. We used a Latin prayer asking for a help. Of course it helps.
He refused to identify the woman and gave no details on her current condition. While the complaints continue, the town mayor says he’s talked to the priest and nothing illegal occurred in the church.
Nothing illegal occurred in the church? But... but... I thought the whole point of going to church was to rid ourselves of the evil so we could be worthy to go be with God someday. Why would he even mention this being illegal?
