If the Unions can't recruit, they will import members!

Seems TPTB want to fast-track us on a road to ruin!
I've tried and tried to think of a logical, alternative explanation for the direction our country has been going for the last two decades, and for the life of me I can't.

I think you hit it on the head for end result, and many of us can see it coming.

I've also racked my brain on this, and in very serious ways. After all, if we ever have reason to believe our own leadership truly IS 'out for the downfall' of the nation? It isn't just movie nonsense to say we have a duty, not just a choice about DOING something. Just as we look back and say, and rightly so, the Germans in the 30's had a DUTY to DO something, which they utterly failed with, on every level. 

However, I don't believe we actually have that, however much we comment in that direction. It sure feels like it at times..and again, I fear the end result won't be much different for the distinction here, but it is my belief to say that, as much as it is the 'other side's' belief to just the opposite. 

There really are people who walk and live among us, that believe, sincerely, that what we're watching can have a positive and actually, critically needed outcome. I even understand their logic and mindset, having debated more than a few 'true believers'. I think they are patently wrong and naive to dangerous levels, but I also think they really are sincere in believing 'Means justify ends' and thinking the best of ultimate human nature. 

I think human nature, on average, tends to run dark and ugly without reasons or deterrence to be otherwise. So I can't see any positive outcome to this chaos, by base definition there.


Obama? I really don't know......but the people around him are fruits, nuts and outright screw-balls that make the 1960's hippie look like a right wing thug, for how much further they've gone.......and he kinda lets his people run with their ideas, as we've seen all too often by now.

What goes around comes around. maybe they'll let the current Americans have reservations next to the Indians THEY displaced when the new masters take over. After all, it's being done the same way - first a few "immigrants", then a flood, then war and displacement.

I guess it's just the American Way.
