Oh, isn't it a sight to see. We have both houses of Congress under Republican Control and we have a court system under a majority conservative bench, whatever the Executive may be up to. We should see change, right? We should see Republicans asserting themselves. We should see some logic ...right?
hahahahahaha.... You'd think so...but this is Washington D.C. in the 21st Century. Corruption and Dereliction of Duty isn't just an accusation from political hacks...it is a way of life among the Political ruling class.
Case in point....Loretta Lynch, as the replacement for Empty Holster (AKA, Eric Holder).
Nothing changes and nothing is different. I'm not sure if Lynch is a good choice or not ...but then,. McConnel doesn't even care, either way. It is about politics, and she is a mere human pawn on the board to a bill TOTALLY UNRELATED to her, her job duties or her fitness to be Attorney General.
I'd be all for obstruction if it were about the nominee herself, and a problem THERE. However, if there is no problem? Stop playing games with lives and the nation as a whole. Let Eric Holder make good on his promise to LEAVE and replace him with someone that strikes me as fairly decent ...given current standards and examples to compare with.

I hate to agree with Schumer about anything. However, he hit this one right, and it's pathetic to a level its hard to express in words.
This is why I am a conservative from my hair to my toes....but call me a Republican, and those are fighting words. Corruption is equal, uniform and consistent.
Red and Blue form an obscene purple goo.....of fail.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell warned Sunday that he won't hold a confirmation vote for Loretta Lynch as attorney general before the Senate completes work on a bill designed to curb human trafficking.
The Kentucky Republican's comments prompted immediate protests from Democratic lawmakers who view her confirmation as a top priority.

"If they want to have time to turn to the attorney general bill next week, we need to finish up this human trafficking bill," McConnell said.
Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York said Republicans are using any excuse they can to stall the nomination. At a time when terrorist groups are threatening the U.S., the nominee deserves a vote, he said.
