Well I'm relieved it's not just me. I logged in a few hours before getting to work and tried my hat at it - but resulted.
I went to work on my cardi-wrap. I said screw it.
I hope it gets worked out. It would be all kinds of funny if I work on avatars but don't have one myself. If need be, I can try creating another account, and see if that solves the problem. Just let me know, and NightHawk is on her way.

No I didn't. I missed that. Sorry. I've been busy all day, and every time I think I have time to just sit down at the computer. Another kids needs something because they are bored.
They don't have to go to bed- they just can't stay down here. Damn! Go upstairs!
So a new adventure begins. Changing the background. Alrighty, let me go poke around my profile and try this again.
But I gotta say, love the choice in themes! You all did an outstanding job. So I tried several themes with the avatar and it's not taking. I like the linen background, my eyes instantly went aahhhh - when I switched it.

I used to do graphics and maintain a website for a warehouse that supplied pet products. I would photograph products like bird cages in a studio setup, put cutout birds in the cages or cats and dogs in rooms I created from scratch, etc. I got pretty good with Photoshop on that job.
When I could get away with it I would play with the perspective and subtle details, but I developed some tricks to maintain scale, shadows and room depth to make the photos as realistic as possible. The most I do now is touch up old and damaged photos of my own.
I never kept up on the new trends in graphic design, so I don't do that type of work anymore. Basically I wasted time and money in college by not keeping up after I was in the work force. Occasionally I see some shabby graphics that make me cringe and wonder how someone got paid to do work like that.
Grace, Now That's Really CoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooL!

That is cool! What kind of programs do you have? I have PS6, but not CC (as that is a monthly fee now) I have been doing photoshop without glasses which has been a bit difficult, but I have just gotten a great pair of glasses and its amazing how well I am able to see. The post above yours is the first thing I have done in photoshop with glasses on. (although I didn't spend a lot of time, was just kicking around in there with my new glasses.. lol)
I dearly love photoshop, I am still learning it, but getting better all the time! Been working in it for about 2 years or a bit more now. I did the banners for my (ex) place of employment and did a bit of dropping backgrounds for product advertisements for my old job as well, to get out of spending too much time on staging, then also I have been doing my own artwork..
I would love to see some of your work... come on in and play a while! Welcome welcome!
