@snarky412, im in process of installing my favorite photo editor. Shouldve done it to begin with to make sure it was right but i decided to trust others work. if i cant get it working after this, you can have the image

Okay...just remember if using a long image like mine, you will need an invisible one that goes into the "Avatar" selection While your actual image goes into the "background profile" (there is one at the top post)
If you need anything, just give me a yell...I may not respond right away due to other stuff I'm working on, but I will get back to you

I'm working on it right now. I uploaded them into the image vault, but when I link it says it's not a recognizable link. Let me change my background to the transparent and try to apply the mini profile with the mermaid.

Okay. I tried all three images I posted. The one in this thread and the other two in the other avatar thread made earlier. (add link tomorrow, I need my bed).
Now, when I click on the mini profile background, a subtext comes up - but I cannot right click in that subtext to place the text. Only the text box will allow me to paste into it. I've tried from Imgur, photobucket, and HH's Image Vault.

Question....when you hit on "background image" does a window open up?
If not, it will not work regardless of the image you try
That is why I was trying to get you to change themes. ...it may be an isdue with the theme you are currently using

Just a thought...make sure it is not putting 2 of the -- hhtp: --- I've had it do that to me a few times, so now I make sure it is not duplicated

Well! This has me bamboozled (that there is a technical term - kids, don't try using it at home!) too. I'm poking and prodding around in there too, and can't yet get it figured out, either, but I will... oh yes, I WILL!... or else accept defeat, which takes me a while.
That's why your background now shows the HH image vault image URL. It took me about a day and a half to get my own set. We'll see how long this takes me...
I should have saved the imgur URL, but I didn't. Won't make that mistake again!
