Oh Oh Oh! I'll get to see the good Chief squirm after all. I should have known, Holder could never leave this alone or let it slide. Nope.. I should have had faith. Politics would prevail.
In this case? Well, I don't mind saying the nasty methods of politically driven action will lead to what really has to happen up there. Some forced changes. Real changes. Not another token minority officer to be able to say they have one...or is it two?
Now who knows how it may turn out, just looking at that ....but also observe the way this article ends. Oh my yes... The good chief is about to have a VERY bad day, I'm thinking.

Obama and Holder are pretty good showmen. They know how to build people up and deliver a show on command. Holder just supplied the build up, when we remember how things last ended in Ferguson. How the Police Department and Prosecutor seemed to suggest that the conclusion of their investigation pretty much matched the federal one, and how BADLY the public took that.
So...in looking at the last direct quote from Holder himself? People will be satisfied? Oh, I can just imagine what he means, and especially as what may be among his last official acts as Attorney General. He'll make it a meaningful one.

Washington (CNN)The Justice Department is preparing to bring a lawsuit against the Ferguson, Missouri, police department over a pattern of racially discriminatory tactics used by officers, if the police department does not agree to make changes on its own, sources tell CNN.
Attorney General Eric Holder said this week he expects to announce the results of the department's investigation of the shooting death of Michael Brown and a broader probe of the Ferguson Police Department before he leaves office in the coming weeks.

"I think everybody will see when we announce our results that the process that we have engaged in is, as I said back at the time when I went to Ferguson, independent, thorough and based on all the facts," he said. "And I am confident that people will be satisfied with the results that will be announced."
