Who is your Dream Team for the next Admin

Excellent question. I think the answer depends somewhat on what each of us sees are the problems facing the nation, and what we see as the strength of the candidates.

I happen to think there's a general depression and loss of hope in the future settling over the country. Dependency, fear of a dishonest and secretive government, a loss of principles and beliefs which the country was founded upon and which give us our energy and drive. I think the President (now, I can capitalize the word) should be the type of person who can restore that broad vision. For that purpose, I see Carson as the best choice.

But Washington is still a political town, and Carson would need someone to get the votes, make the deals, and build the alliances. Someone who knows his way around political warfare. If I'm sticking with current presidential hopefuls, I'd say that's where Walker comes in as Vice.

Next up is State. Is the problem that we're not being diplomatic enough, or is the problem that we're not looking tough enough? John Bolton, a former ambassador to the UN, has been mentioned as a possibility, put him in there, moustache and all.

Justice is going to be key as well. I'd like a Constitutionalist who knows his way around the legal system, not just someone who has a law degree. Here, I'd want to go outside of the Presidential possibilities to Judge Alex Kozinski. Until his seven year term expired in December, he served as the Chief Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit based in California. He grew up as a committed Communist in Romania and became what he described as "An instant Capitalist" on his first trip to the free side of the Soviet Union.

Have you any better ideas to fill the job?

For the rest? I don't know. Maybe Palin for Interior? Put Paul ryan where his brains and analytical skills would serve the country. Maybe Treasury?

Defense is tough as officers don't discuss policy very publicly. My (mostly joking) first choice might be one of the Generals Obama fired because they disagreed with him.

Break up Homeland Security. Cut Education, Commerce, and Education by about 90%
