Gov. Scott Walker fires back at pro-union mob

I think the teachers unions have been 'tolerated' for lack of choices or power to do anything about it. Parents have taken it, endured it and recalled what it was like when they, themselves, had to live it.

I dare say, the Teachers unions may do very well to be seen..and NOT so much heard at the moment. I mean, school kids sued tenure right out of the system in California (hadn't followed it to see how that turned out..but the court victory was real when last seen). Test scores may be going up...as we see systemic and institutional cheating across districts like Atlanta. Charges that actually saw criminal convictions in that case. Test scores rise..but how many parents see kids getting smarter?

Hell..let me just ask THIS...how many here see kids as smart or as capable of deep problem solving and critical thinking as WE WERE at their same age? The critters exist...and I wouldn't suggest kids are universally simple these days...but I sure DO see major differences. Important ones. Educational and trained differences.....that don't make Teachers the best pillars of virtue to be leading any charges outside reform of their own industry, IMO.

The simple Answer to that question is YES, Most Americans are tired of this Bull Shit of Pandering to the "Ultra Rich and the All I Want is Free Stuff Population!"

OK, I've read a lot about this Man and his Values, My husband likes him and one other that'll never run, ( Mr. Powell ).
I don't care about his religious back ground, I mean we had Obama that sat in a Racist Church Scream about how Bad The Whites Are and he and his wife just sat there and nodded their heads and worship the man Proclaiming their Christians, But when did Christians Say Racism Was OK or That Radical Muslims are Misunderstood and Only Need a Hug and Free Healthcare and Jobs?

That makes sense - I've got to agree with Walker there. Who in the hell CARES what Obama's religion is? Religion is neither a qualification nor a bar to public office. It just doesn't matter at all how someone relates to their deity when it comes to their politics, and the US Constitution says so - explicitly.

Seriously - when folks throw out smoke screens about religion in political realms, I have to ask myself just what it is they are trying to hide or distract from by trying to redirect attention to irrelevancies.

BUT - answering a question about another candidate's faith has a LOT to do with leadership in this day and age of political sleight of hand... especially if that answer is "Who the hell cares? Haven't you ever even picked up a copy of the Constitution?". Leaders are people who tell the Media Emperors that they are naked - and morally bankrupt. Leaders are the people who call the distractors out on their distracting tactics.

Yeah. Answering that question has a surprisingly firm bearing on "leadership qualities" - but not in the way the pundits are suggesting there.

PSSST - comparing Walker to Giuliani is definitely not the way to get my support for him. Giuliani is one of those RINOS that gave the Republican Party a real bad name amongst Republicans, the sort of person that caused me to leave the Republican Party several years ago and never look back. If Walker is a RINO, too, I cannot support him in good faith and with a clear conscience.

They've been digging for years Sen and so far have only come up with dry holes. I'm just waiting for some female to come out and say that he assaulted her back in college or had an affair. That always seems to be the fall back position when they can't find anything else.

And even if proven false, the credibility is damaged. Sometimes beyond repair.
