OH, My Goodness Oregon,,,,When you Liberals Ever Going To learn,, They're All Corrupt, it's just, Democrats are more corrupt than Republicans. Yes, I can back this up with numbers for YOU, mr. & mrs. Progressive Liberal!
Embattled Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber has announced his resignation amid an ethics scandal.
Really, A Scandal! Who'd Ever Guessed?
The radio silence from the Democratic governor follows his worst week yet in the course of a series of controversies involving his fiancee Cylvia Hayes. First, the state attorney general, who is also a Democrat, confirmed she had opened a criminal investigation. Then, the governor summoned the secretary of state, Oregon's No. 2 official, from Washington, D.C., to meet with him, only to inform her he would not resign -- the governor, according to the Associated Press, briefly decided to resign, and then changed his mind while the secretary of state was en route to Oregon. Kitzhaber has hired prominent Portland criminal defense attorney Janet Hoffman amid the drama. But according to The Oregonian, he's vanished from the public eye and his whereabouts are unknown. The governor’s staff won't answer questions and few seem to know where he is.
Investigations, including another reportedly launched by the FBI, center around Hayes, who has pocketed more than $200,000 as a consultant during the same time she was the acting first lady as well as an adviser to the governor. link
There's more, but you can read about it. Now, for the Numbers, From 2010 to 2015 here are the numbers of corrupt politicians by party. According to Wiki,,, there were 1 Green Party, 23 Republicans and 53 Democrats!
Oregon had a total of 65 delegates at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Of these, 52 pledged delegates were allocated proportionally to one of the Democratic Presidential candidates in the primary. (The delegates themselves, along with nine alternates, were elected at a later date.)[3]
The 52 pledged delegates were allocated as follows:[3]
Oregon's 1st congressional district: 7 Oregon's 2nd congressional district: 5 Oregon's 3rd congressional district: 9 Oregon's 4th congressional district: 7 Oregon's 5th congressional district: 6 At-large: 12 Pledged superdelegates: 6 Oregon also had 13 unpledged superdelegates, all of whom endorsed Obama (though Kulongoski and Hooley originally endorsed Clinton in the primaries):[4][5]
Governor Ted Kulongoski U.S. Senator Ron Wyden Congressman David Wu Congressman Earl Blumenauer Congressman Peter DeFazio Congresswoman Darlene Hooley Secretary of State Bill Bradbury (by association with the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State) DNC member Frank Dixon DNC member Jenny Greenleaf DNC member Wayne Kinney DNC member Gail Rasmussen DNC member and DPO chair Meredith Wood Smith Former Governor Barbara Roberts (unpledged delegate, elected at the state Democratic convention on June 21)[6]
Sooooooo, she admits it! How many others have chose the same life style but hid it!
Quite frankly? As much as I despise the politically correct Progressives, I have to tip my hat to this lady for standing up for who she is! (at least sexually)
She has more cajones than MANY elected officials!
To be honest? It makes me trust her just a little bit more than all the rest of the pretenders.....
Plus, how many men do not enjoy watching 2 women? That question was more pointed to Conservative males.....
dirkgently, But I wonder why should he? It was his fiance screwing things up. (Old man+good looking younger gal) Do the math. Now if it could be proven that he knew, that's another story.
Beware the man who has one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

Not me. If they're not making a sandwich out of me, what the hell do I care what they do if I'm not involved? I guess it's the same reason that I don't care anything about sports - if I'm not in the thick of it, what do I care what those guys out there on that field are doing? It's for them, not me. I'm not getting any exercise out of it.
I don't see what business anyone's sexual orientation has to do with their ability to govern, any how. It's like if a guy was a gay carpenter, and folks made a deal about it - what do I care what he does on his own time? He's not building me a house with it!

Well, my second wife was bi, and I thoroughly enjoyed kicking back chugging a few beers watching the show! But to each their own right?
I agree with you whole heartedly though about a person sexual orientation having a damn thing to do with them being able to do their job!
I just wish more people could understand that "their freedom" doesn't mean they should have the ability to take away others....
You missed them,,, Here they are again. Green Party = 1, Republican's = 23 and the Democrats = 53 for the years of 2010 thru 2015 not including the latest make it 54 Dems.
You know, emotionallyincorrect, I sort of, kind of agree with you, partially. I don't care what she is sexually attracted to, even the strict and rigid Catholic Church has no objection to her having those desires.
What I'm wondering about is why did she make an issue of it? Why is she known as "openly" bi-sexual? She can't possibly believe in the cry "It's no business of yours who I sleep with!" If she believed that it wasn't our business, she wouldn't talk to us about it.
Apparently she thinks it is our business, and that's where she goes badly wrong.

That is a good point Charles...
Damned if you do and damned if you don't? I mean think about if she didn't "come out" and then it was found out!
I just tagged it this way because I am way to lazy to go back over and individualize response ( I love HH's because I can say what I think and not be considered an idiot.. Or rude on purpose..)
1)I am a lesbian in a mans body (yes my GF accuses me of having more periods then she does.. I hate panties they always get in a wad)
The reason I mention it is because the comment is correct over the house builder.. the job description has nothing to do with LGBT..
2)Leadership
Governor is responsible because it was his household.. His organization.. And at the end of the day the buck stops with him, otherwise he is not the leader.. The only problem is he accepted the job so if he claims he is not the one responsible he goes to jail for defrauding tax payers on dereliction of duty.. He is paid for this responsibility regardless of the excuses
3)Propaganda
The use of the LGBT thing Does anyone know who that lady supports.. is it the O-man or billary
I had a lot of other comments but I just woke and forgot them Mornin
Just to add my thoughts on this, as I've been reading more and more on the story?
First... There has to be more to this than it appears. Nepotism is hardly a new concept..and aren't there similar issues for family benefits out of sitting office holders running through Pelosi to Reid to even Biden? (How are those Ukraine business deals working for Biden's kid, anyway?). So why did this turd, within a sea of crap, piss people off so much? Was a spotlight directed by someone with personal axes to grind or did more happen than we've heard about so far?
Second... they can replace him with a green polka dotted hermaphrodite for all I care..but when that fact of their person life leads headlines before any reference to the qualifications to lead from an executive Government position? Oregon may have well gone from bad to worse.
We have an activist President that has little to no experience to his job. This is what activist credentials before experience in being good at a job gets us. I hope it isn't getting Oregon the same for the State House, as it seems to be the most notable qualification of the new Governor. (she didn't have anything to do with 'exposing' the Governor...did she? Just wondering...)
