'Poof' you are a pilot and know everything there is about flying acro. Without practice and building your body up to take the 'G's most would not last for 2 minutes much less a full 20 minute show.. I took an Airline Captain who was X military with 14,000 hours flight time who said he wanted to ride through a show. He did not last after the first snap roll and loop. He was as white as the shirt he had on and swore he was going to puke.. He was not a bad guy but watching and doing are two totally different things..
Yes there were a couple of guys who did acro in Beech-18s.. If I remember correctly they were the older lighter versions verses the later models. As long as you keep one positive G on the aircraft it does not care if it is upside down or not. I used to do wing overs and rolls in a 737 and 727 almost every time I received a check ride in our full motion simulators. Never tried it with passengers or in the real world for I valued my job to much.. If I remember the B-18 that one of the guys was flying could pull 4 or 4.5 G's max without a problem.. But don't try it at home for it has been a long time ago and I might be wrong.. His bird was stripped of all excess weight and that Beech would climb.. Very expensive to operate too.
Nothing in this video that your average BOEING airliner cannot do. Other than the top and bottom of a few loops he is not pulling any G's Airbus is controlled by computer and they used to say you could not bank the thing over 45 or 60 ? degrees.. I never flew an A irbus and do not feel like I missed out on anything..
