It may very well be that we are on the verge of discovering a new growth industry. Yes, I'm being serious, quit giggling.

There were some people who really had some idea of what might happen, as early as 2008, but certainly not most of us. Now the only believers seem to be those who are emotionally wedded to the idea that the Obama - US marriage could succeed. Well, it cant. and now even normal people know that.

For the 2012 election, the question in my mind was how much damage could he do in four years if he was re-elected. Now the question is, how much damage can he do when that is his clear path, and nobody can do anything to stop him.

My suggested growth industry isn't Zombie survival, or disaster preparedness. I'd like to see our political minds predict what disasters will be thrown at us from Washington and provide some advice on how to defend against them. I don't mean "bug out bags." The people who have wanted to go that route pretty much have done the work they want to, and the rest of us can't or don't care to.

I'm thinking of something a bit more vague. Say, Washington proposes that anyone who can pass a knowledge test can be the pastor of your church. Keeping people of other religions out of leadership spots in your religion would be seen as discrimination.

Or, is there some way as citizens, to prevent non-citizens from voting? Is there any way to have recognized rights for our students in the schools? Is there some way to keep assets out of government's hands?

There are issues about which we are afraid to do anything. As we've seen, the government isn't concerned with citizens, or their rights and protections, so we duck and hide hoping not to get noticed.

I don't want to sound like an end of times dooms day prophet, but I would like a company to put together solid information which we could rely on, and some legal information which would protect us. (Unless of course, the government really wants you, then it no longer matters. Check with our experts.)

I have to apologize, this is a different tone for me, but I think I'm not the only one who would like to know what in the world is going on, and how can we make sure we're just left alone.
