You all know what I'm referring to if you've been on forums long enough. Some evolve their own slang terms, and those terms seem to make no sense to new people, or some get the joke but would like to know the background on how it came to be.
I'm proposing a thread to submit commonly used terms or words on HH, with explanations as to how their use came to be for new members to get acquainted with. In my experience, it's handy & helpful to know the inside jokes.
What say HHers? Good idea, eh idea, not ucking worthwhile?

This I think is a fabulous idea, there are a lot of times this old guy has no clue what some people mean. Most of the time it is innocent but there is the odd occasion I take it the wrong way. If it wasn't for smiley's I would be pissed when I shouldn't be. lol I guess its a generational thing. But it would help me with the 2D conversations that I sometimes don't understand what the tone is.
I don't have any trouble with setting up a dictionary thread. I suppose we'd write down what we could think of, then edit the thread to include terms as members ask about them.
I can see "PM," "U2U," and "TOS," but after that I slow down a little. What did you have in mind?
