Since I am lucky enough to be one of those old guys that has been online since Jesus lost his slipper, I can testify the Chinese had at one time tried to hack any IP address they came across. They would start on an IP block and start to see what they could find. With the resources of a communist government it wouldn't take them long to map everything and everyone. Back then in the beginning when google was a funny spelled word with a unknown following. I used to run software on my home computer (Paranoid) that reported every IP scan, port scan, etc. and it was always traced back to China, some US but 95% China. 

That being said what fool would hookup a new missile battery to the internet when we have satellite communications that offer pretty much unbreakable encryption. The claim makes little sense to me, sounds like useable drama. 

The saber rattling, tough talk, and demonizing doesn't start wars today anymore than they did since WWI. It's always about money. The whole idea behind BRICSA is to get off of the dollar as the reserve currency, China and Russia handling their own global financial transactions, and the group being in control of their own financial future. The US doesn't like not being involved in every aspect of countries especially financially. Imagine every time you used your credit card, or made a bank deposit between countries etc. and the US government knew about it. You couldn't sell arms, drugs, or any capital expenditure between countries like buying a Caterpillar tractor without the US and the SWIFT system being notified. For obvious reasons this is a safety benefit to the US but what greedy bastard started using that information to their advantage?

To add to this China has just decided to back their dollar against gold, you gotta know this is pissing the US off, and worse yet since Deutsche Bank the earliest EU central bank just admitted to fixing gold and silver prices. The best part is as part of their fine they are going to rat out the other banks they were working with to do it. So enter China again and to add insult to injury they are going to establish their own gold prices. Somewhere in the banking industry (read US) the shit has to be hitting the fan. Finally China knows the power of any country is having control of your own destiny by being able to protect your ocean bound shipping. Building militarily protected island and bases was the last straw. Knowing this and the placement of chess pieces the US just keeps building missle bases surrounding China. Now enter Obama and his quietly spending on nuclear weapons the B61 and the ball game is changing to a close range affair. These B61'a are bombs they cost 11 billion to make 400 or so. that some serious destruction. Yeeha were are talking Mr. I won't build anymore nukes Obama.

Oh they are gearing up for sure but it not over demonizing, and tough talk. 

It's interesting that during WWII we took island after island to create bases and supply chains before attacking main land Japan. The Chinese appear to e building their island of supply chains. The world is an interesting place right now.

So it appears they are going to take a page out of the US play book, and position their military to provide the threat, create civil unrest and political turmoil, install puppet government viola' things then go your way. We have been excellent teachers grasshopper.
