Neat. Installing elevators could be a good job. Moving around is always better than staying at one location every day.
Moving around can also be a bummer Rick... I work from home now and am the kind of bloke who likes to keep my flip flops, shorts and hair all scruffy when I am working... (after a shower of course...)
Unfortunately, from time to time I have to shave, bang on a suit and tie (sometimes), fly around the world or drive all over Europe whilst at the same spending many a lonely night away from my loved ones... "Indeed a bummer it is" said a respected pointy eared Jedi once...
However... the great part of the job (or the perks, so to speak) is/are when you re-discover your loved ones after a time away from the comfort of ones nest.

I worked construction most of my working career and I usually stayed local or went back to my home town to do a few jobs. Sometimes I stayed in motels, that kind of gets old though. I did work on many homes over the years, many of those were between one day and a week long. I got to meet a lot of people and it doesn't ever get boring. I did all sorts of different work.
I did work at Kohler for a year and three months and a flooring mill for a little over a year. When I learned to do the jobs, I got bored. I wanted to learn how to do new things. I am pretty good at lots of professions and I got to know the way many of these people think and that is good knowledge to have. I have a things in common with a lot of people. I know I am not as experienced as someone who spent their whole life doing one job, but I can relate to them and tell them I only worked in the profession for a year or so. Seems so strange, I have so much experiencing in so many professions and now I am getting old. All that work took a toll on my body, especially my back. What a waste of experience, I have to reverse my aging process, I know how to do it but from my research the side effects can kill a person anyway. Maybe starting to drink again is the appropriate thing to do.
