The women’s anger stems from Kelly’s question where she asked Trump to explain several misogynist comments from his past. Trump said he only made those comments about Rosie O’Donnell. The two had a long-running public feud.
“Here’s the damn deal Megyn Kelly or Kelly Megyn, whatever your name is. Rosie O’Donnell started that whole feud,” said one of the women. “She was on The View and she spoke out about Donald and Donald had to come back on her. I don’t know why you had to make this a part of your forum last night, perhaps you don’t need to be hosting debates.”
Oh yea, I remember that
You mean to tell me MK is making a big fuss over THAT? I have to agree, if she thinks that is more important than the economy or border control, she DOES NOT need to be over any kind of presidential debate
What, has she turned into some kind of women's libber fanatic now? Gonna lose focus on something serious, over an incident that happened a couple of years ago, where the foul mouthed RO started the crap?
Really...how disappointed I am in you Megyn Kelly You need to get off that high horse of yours
That is not what happened at all. I watched the debate. The Don got caught flat-footed. Here is the unvarnished truth. Sounds to me about 50/50 with the boos and cheers.
Once again, the low information voters are turning out in droves over perceived slights against their hero.
In all actually, I totally agree with his politically correct statement in his answer. But that has been glossed over in the MSM because others have made this out to be a personal attack. Even Kelly said today for people to move and this is all part of the game of politics and the news cycle.
Kelly said she doesn't expect an apology from Trump and she would not apologize "for doing good journalism."
"This is a tough business, and it's time now to move forward ... let's get back to the news."
Trump's view on women have come under fire in the last several days after the interaction with Kelly during the GOP debate. Trump has called Kelly a "bimbo" and a "lightweight" for asking about his disparaging comments toward women he believes he has slighted him.
If the Don gets his feathers ruffled over something like this, then how is he going to deal with Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, ISIS, etc, etc, etc. His answers to that very question are so vague that it is obvious he doesn't have any.
Trump is entertaining, but I think that this has gone to his head. His policy answers to those who question him are not even answers. They're meme's. But I guess this is the new 'Murica. No wonder no one takes us serious anymore if this guy and Clinton are our front-runners.
I think I'll just say this. One can be judged by the company they choose to keep. I think life shows that to be true, often enough to be painful for some folks.
At the same time? One's behavior can sometimes be judged well by the company giving enthusiastic approval.....and Kelly probably would have paid to NOT have this fan club, but it is what it is.
“But I just want to remind us that what they say about women — not one woman who is perfectly capable and incredibly impressive, able to take care of herself,” Clinton continued, referring to Kelly, “but all these women that I have fought for, worked for, stood up for, advocated for and want to be a president for, who may not have the opportunity to defend themselves, who may lose the right to exercise a personal choice if certain of the Republicans were to be successful, I don’t want that forgotten.”
I can't help but laugh, and I've watched Kelly on and off for a long time. She's incredibly intelligent, but given to tantrums and snarky remarks that would make an internet troll yell 'WTF?' at times.
I can just imagine her off-camera thoughts and remarks upon hearing such a glowing recommendation from none other than the Hildabeast.
..who needs enemies? (hops off laughing hysterically)
Kelly's probably squinting so hard right now that she's bouncing offa walls. But Kelly is a attorney, so she makes for a interesting commentary host, and that is it.
I really did like the comment Trump made about being PC. It does need to be addressed. Especially as a Nation. But that part was glossed right over by both Trump fans and Haters. (Low information voters, both camps) Trump could have taken HUGE advantage of that but didn't.
I look forward to the next debate. Sept 16th. The moderators will be Jake Tapper & Hugh Hewitt. That should be a fun one to watch as well. I'm hoping for more questions with substance in them this time around.
Beware the man who has one gun, he probably knows how to use it.
