Oh, and I would like to point out that they "interpreted" that verse wrong. It doesn't say "if thine eye be 'good', it says, "if thine eye be 'single'... talking about the pineal gland... the single eye we all have.

So, while I'm getting the attention of the computer savvy people here, I would like to ask if anyone ever has a sudden "flash" that goes across their screen? I do. Like someone is taking a snapshot of what I'm looking at.

I have a virus program, and a Malware program that is supposed to take care of such things, but I realize none of them are fail proof. I have Windows 7 Ultimate, and use Firefox browser.

I think I have visitors peeking in at me.

Yup... I have that happen occasionally, and that MAY be EXACTLY what is happening.

That flash, with a bit rougher edge *IS* what it looks like when Networking admins or instructors in a classroom 'drop in' on a computer session to snapshot or watch a screen in real time. In fact, that is the only sign you ever get. A quick rough flash of the screen. If you were looking away, you wouldn't even know your screen was now on someone else's screen.

@wrabbit2000,  That's what I thought.  And I just bought this computer a few weeks ago with a totally clean hard drive.

Sigh...  time to get rid of them!  I'll have to do some major "housecleaning" when I get back from the dentist.  I hate computers!!!

Mystic Wanderer, Most visit won't give you a notice like your Flash. They'll be in the background stealing your pass words and other information.
They don't need to flash your screen to take a picture of what your looking at, no they, like our Gov. all ready know through your browsing history and cookies which they can obtain easily with out your knowledge.

If you're depending on program's running in the background to keep you safe, you've lost the battle.
Best defence is to be on the offence on your terms and when you want.

I don't know about other here like Wrabbit, but my husband never pays for antivirus or antimalware programs.
He loads the free version of Superantispyware, Free AVG and Free CCleaner all are ran Once or Twice a Week and they come with free update notifications.

We clear our cookies & browsing history constantly, this is done on all three desktops and all three laptops and two ipods.
IObit has a Great app for Smartphones to keep them clean and safe.
We use IObit Unistaller w/power remover to remove programs we no longer need or use.

Hope this helps, but you may look at a new monitor cable or monitor for that flashing problem or reload your monitor drivers or look for updates, again here's a Great program for keeping your drivers updated and it's the Free version from IObit.
Driver Booster 2 from IObit, there's the free version we use and after you download it, it'll check your drivers for being out dated and find updates and ask you is you want to update, so you're in control.

I do about the same here. I bought Malwarebytes with their lifetime license..but I didn't even reinstall the paid version when I reformatted the last time. I put the free version on and threw out the serial card. All the paid version added was nag screens to be a real pain in my butt. Scanning a couple times a week when I tell it to seems to work.

I keep Windows Defender up and current, because Windows HATES competition for screwing us...and malware/viruses are competition. (who said corp scumbaggery can't be beneficial at times?) 

I also have an online scanner bookmarked for a scan from outside the system if I need it (and that has caught things before... Trend Micro offers one, as do other major companies)...

If all else fails? The sledgehammer to kill a fly comes out and ComboFix from Bleepingcomputer gets turned loose. That one will either destroy your machine, or fix it...but by the time it gets used, there is nothing left to lose anyway, and it almost always works as a last resort.
