My sweetheart watches all this crapola, I catch the news, yell at the history channel to get it right, and have some intelligent conversation at HH. Other than that read and work on projects. The reality shows rot your brain.
Left-handed mulatto touch typists? lol I have not a clue. This sounds like some sort of Obama thing. But I didn't think the three stooges were on anymore.
Mr. G. here, yes, yes, yes,,,I remember all those coming at me, and,,, Mom yelling at the Top of her Lungs,,, "Help Me Jesus, Help me Jesus, This Boy Needs Your Hand Helping my hand!" Whack! Another was always good and made me what to ask,,, well why then,,, " I'm Only Spanking You Because I Love You!" Or and this is good too, " This Hurts Me More Than It Does You!" Bull Shit it does!!!! Dad would walk in and say, drop'em. MOM would often cry to Jesus, because she was REALLY Religious, Super Religious and she'd ask for forgiveness because I made Her Hit Her Child. Once I screwed up Really Bad for our Duck and Cover Drill at High School, Got sent to the Principles office and Whacked and got Whack again at Home,,,, Like That was a Bad Day for a 14 year old! I remember our Junior High School Assistant Principal had a big paddle on his wall with "Board of Education" written on it. I think we saw it on our orientation tour of the school as incoming 6th graders, but I do know that some kids got whacked with that.
That would have been around 1974 or so. I wonder when that sort of stuff got banned, the 1980s? 1990s? It wasn't allowed when my daughter started school in the late 1990s.

I think the last time I received swats was Jr. High and that would have been ehem.. oh 1970 or 1971 if I am not mistaken they called it capital punishment and it wasn't long after highschool it was stopped. At that time the teacher had total discretion as to who and when they would issue swats. I got mine always for fighting and the last was from the woodshop teacher who had drilled holes in the paddle so it would move through the air easier and develop more speed before impacting my butt.
I gave you and good burn on the buns, and made you think twice.
Missouri still has legal Corporal Punishment (Capital is the Death Chamber at Potosi State Prison..lol). I can't say the last time I heard a school around here use it...and schools have told me they can't even allow a uniformed school police officer search a student with probable cause on school grounds...because of privacy concerns. So, I'm not sure it would ever be used again for the CYA paranoia here, and certainly not reported publicly if it were.
Still... Corporal Punishment is very much a part of life here for average folks and my son is doing well enough for it.
As an example, my neighbor across the street literally had a fist fight with a 15yr old he had staying with him, along with his girlfriend at the time. He won, too....and good, since it was about to be more than 1 against the kid if that had changed for outcome. The kid had the nerve to call the cops because he was knocked off his feet more than once. Err.. bad move in Missouri. At least in his situation...
When the cops verified he'd picked up a knife inside the house and before it spilled into the front yard (just picked it up...and that was enough)..and then saw the crack pipe the kid dropped during the fight, they literally told my neighbor he could have gone further with it, and the kid was just lucky he didn't choose to...then closed the call and left. Some areas of our nation still see a good butt kicking as necessary, as well as fully justified...from time to time.
