You're NOT Going to Believe This!

Nope! Wasn't my power of thought that caused it to manifest.  I just now went into the bathroom to fix my hair and the light over the mirror flashed. 

OMG! And now the one at my computer desk just flashed!  We don't have any storms in the area right now, so it wasn't that.

They are letting me know they are here.  

Hehe .... you got a playful ghost ....... theres some ghost who like to play harmless pranks like hiding keys and personal items from you at times ...... often is child ghosts do that ...... leave some candy and soda out for them along with couple toys and talk to them .....




Edit to add ...... yep got couple of them at my house in japan that do things like that to let me know they around at the times am there ( house is old family home dating back to late 16th century ..... think they some the ancestors )

If it happened to me, I'd just figure the cat got it stuck on his fur and then it dropped off. or he 'golfed' it out from under the bed.

Da-heck? Some of the buttons are missing in this thread, and I couldn't find a reply box at the bottom, either. maybe I'm just missing something.

Anyhow, for the past two or three months, I've been finding dimes everywhere, seemingly at random, but always dimes. Never nickels, pennies, or quarters, always dimes. I have no idea why. The first one was outside a grocery store out in town. No real surprise there, finding a dime laying outside a store (it was on the concrete, just in front of a bench I sat down on), but then they started showing up everywhere. In the driveway. In the living room floor. In the bedroom floor. In the computer room floor. Everywhere. Always out in the middle of the floor where they can't be missed. My broke ass ain't had two pennies to rub together, so they've not been falling out of my pockets. No idea where they come from, just a notion that they ought not to be HERE. I heard something fall and hit the floor one night in the bathroom. I looked around to see what had fallen to put it back,  and lo and behold there was a nice shiny dime right there in the bathroom floor!

The kicker so far was a few nights ago when I found one on the keyboard of the computer that sits behind me. Now, everyone but me and Grace had been gone for about a week, and that computer ain't been working - Windows 8 just up and decided to stop booting any more, so no one had been on the computer, either. I went to start working on it to fix it, and there was a bright shiny dime. Not just laying there, but standing up on edge, right at the ":" key, dead center of the keyboard. it kinda blew my mind, but I checked with grace, and she swore she hadn't put it there, and I checked with my mom who was checking in once a day, and she swore SHE hadn't put it there, either. No one else could have. I've no idea where it came from or how it got there.

I took a series of pictures of it so I could recreate it in 3D ("stereo pair" pictures - one for the right eye, one for the left, a couple inches apart, like a View Master image), and when I looked at them full size there was a peculiar thing about the dime - it showed no face on it at all, just a bright white circular blob showing it was there. I looked at the dime again, under the same light, and the face should have shown. That's just another mystery to chalk up.

I have no idea where they come from. Someone once told me that the dead leave coins to show they're still around and watching over you, but who? Why dimes? I can't figure it out, so if there's a message there, I'm missing it altogether.

But I like getting dimes!

@ninurta, Great! I meant to ask if you would, but forgot.  I look forward to seeing it. 

My 'ghost' likes to rattle the doornob on my quilting studio. The door handle on the outside isn't a nob, but a flat, long 'handle' and there isn't any 'play' at all in it. I can not make it rattle, no matter how hard I try, so when I'm in there, and I hear it jiggle I assume someone is trying to open the door.
There is never anyone there, but the ratteling will continue the whole time I'm there on some days.
I have realized that every single time this occurs, it corresponds with an inportant date; either the passing of a loved one, somebody's birthday, my anniversary- a date I need to be aware of.
It started last summer. I have no idea why, or how, but I am getting used to it and kind of enjoy the 'reminder'.
