Greetings all,
My handle is Michigan Swamp Buck.
I'm a refugee from A_T_S. A member there recommended this website as an alternative to A_T_S after reading a rant I made. I'm pretty sick and tired of the BS going down on there and lucky for me, I got a PM from said member who read it before the mods removed it. My rant was about how crappy it was getting over there and how someone should put together another CT blog. Well, apparently someone has, so here I am. I guess I am one of other refugees here so many of you are probably familiar with me.
I was on A_T_S for a number of years and had joined them because of their higher standards and the quality of the posts. Well, that was then and this is now. I just can't stand all the attitudes and lack of honest, logical debate. The important and relevant posts get ignored and the reply posts are mostly off topic. I could go on, but I'm sure many of those here know what I'm talking about.
About myself: I own and live on 40 acres of swamp in the Manistee National Forest area in West Michigan. I'm college educated and my interests are quite varied. I'm an old fart basically, but you probably wouldn't think that if you met me. My interests include art, music, nature, science, religion, the paranormal and of course conspiracy theories. I'm a prepper and a country transplant originally from the Eastside of Detroit, a place I'm glad to be away from. I like venison, my well water, the woods and prairies, and I could walk out my front door naked and shoot some critters and nobody around here would know or care if I did (not that I do that really).
Anyway, that's some of the basics about me, if you don't know me already, you'll know more from my posts. If I like it here, I may be a regular.
