Helpful Guide: Instructional Tips

For anyone interested in a full sized avatar, we can help you with that


2 things are needed

-an invisible avatar 
-full size background image

(if you have one that you used at 'TOS' the dimensions are pretty close and I can fix that)
 

 The dimensions are  225x535

 

               STEP 1
       Apply the invisible avatar...


There are 2 options for this

-using the url address
-uploading the invisible avatar



a) URL Address option:

Copy/paste this url address into the avatar "LINK IMAGE"

 -Go to 'PROFILE'

-Click onto 'EDIT PROFILE' at the top right

-The Avatar page will come up

- Click on the 'Uploaded/Link'

-Click the "LINK IMAGE" and paste the url address in it

-then hit 'Save Avatar Changes'

                          OR

b) Upload the invisible avatar option

Save the invisible avatar posted below to your folder

Once you've saved the invisible avi...

-Go to 'PROFILE'

-Click onto 'EDIT PROFILE' at the top right

-The Avatar page will come up

- Click on the 'Uploaded/Link'

-A little window will open for you to 'Select Image' and that will open your browser

-Find the Invisible Avatar, right click and hit 'Select'

-Then hit 'Save Avatar Changes'

Once you have inserted the invisible avatar you are ready for the next step...


          STEP 2
            Apply background image


-under 'EDIT PROFILE' go to 'PERSONAL'

-Scroll to bottom of page to where it says 'MINI-PROFILE BACKGROUND'

-The only way to use the image is to get the url address from it off another site
(may try uploading to 'TOS' and get image info that way)

***I can do that for anyone that has no way of getting it***


Once you have the image url address, click onto the bar for the background and a window will open
Paste the url address there and the coding will automatically take

*NOTE: You will also see the text/name coloring there as well*


When finished, hit 'SAVE PERSONAL SETTINGS' at the bottom left hand corner

Navigating the Forums


All of the forums will be found on the Hernando's Homepage

Here is a listing of all categories and the order in which you will find them
And in each board are numerous threads.......





The first category shown on the homepage is 'STAFF BOARD'
(Staff eyes only)

You can hit that and fold it up to make for more space

(History and Lost Ancient Worlds)

Under that you will find 4 separate boards

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be a life wisdom thread like don't piss on the electric fence and dont stick mommas car keys in the electric socket, boy was I wrong!
