Folks in the real world ask me sometimes, and occasionally in a pointed way, why I have come to absolutely detest and distrust this President. Sometimes, it can take a moment to come up with something which the person speaking would have heard of and know about. (SO much happens SO fast now..that just watching the evening news isn't enough, as we all know here)
Well, THIS is why I don't trust that man, and no one else should either. When secrecy comes to be laid upon what is down FOR us, in OUR name, and to form PUBLIC POLICY.....there is something terribly WRONG with that policy to require secrecy in the first place.

This White House has burned classified information of ongoing operations as well as NAMES coupled with tactics for US Navy SEAL operations ....just to help get a favorable movie made. Yet...a trade agreement to supposedly benefit our nation ...has to be in such extreme secrecy that Congressman have to damn near huddle in basements just to read it?
I'd give anything for Men in Congress to stand up and say "This far....and NO FURTHER" with this 'Royal Decree' B.S. We didn't elect a king. We elected a President.....and if he needs ULTRA-Secrecy for public policy? He's no longer working in the interests of the United States. Its on HIM to show the public otherwise ....as his track record doesn't make any such assumption reasonable or even intelligent to make.
Just my two cents.....while we still have some to toss around.

If you want to hear the details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal the Obama administration is hoping to pass, you’ve got to be a member of Congress, and you’ve got to go to classified briefings and leave your staff and cellphone at the door.
If you’re a member who wants to read the text, you’ve got to go to a room in the basement of the Capitol Visitor Center and be handed it one section at a time, watched over as you read, and forced to hand over any notes you make before leaving.

And no matter what, you can’t discuss the details of what you’ve read.
