Guys don't get hurt. That is the banner which many men carry, the philosophy tattooed on their brains. Someone has to be invulnerable, or nearly so. Nothing made me happier than when the Doctor visited me after removing my gall bladder and said "That's the most distressed gall bladder I've seen in my career." It was proof that I wasn't just whining about it, proof that I had an excuse for looking for medical attention. It felt good to be reassured of that.

It's sad your daughter lives so far from you, My husbands daughter from his first marriage lives in Salt Lake City Utah, no she's not Mormon, but she always calls for us to visit and he just says no, we aren't going to Utah, you and your husband can come here. Her husband is afraid of my husband, so they don't come and my husband Hates the State of Utah.
