Oddly enough, I'm currently reading "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" in an effort to get my creativity kick started. Coincidence? I think not!
I stumbled across it in a drunken stupor while probing the internets for digital models of the heart of Gold starship from the Hitchhiker's Guide.
The internets yelp every damned time I probe them!

I'm not going to say that I am just like the character, but the similarities are eerie.
theboyinadress, I can't see how anyone could or would be Offended. BIAD is just mopping the floor and clip clopping along in those High Heel and that Famous Red Dress! Cute Red Dress.

Thanks, I must admit, he does cut a dashing figure at times when the evening comes down and he's dancing around outside his shed!
But I just thought I'd chum the waters to see if anyone will jump in and enjoy a swim!
Chum Away My Friend,,,,, Not A problem that i could see. We Enjoy your stories very much, Yes some parts I may have to copy and past into my translator, and reread in Mandarin, but that's OK!
Nossir, no offense taken! It looks like a fine beginning to me, and quite a bit better than the half a beginning I'm still stuck on with wheels spinning. With your permission, I'll get something thrown together to kick the thread off today, and then move your post here to the second poll position in the thread after I kick it off.
And then we'll be off and running to the races!
(I take it there has occurred - or is about to occur perhaps - some sort of race in the UK that draws women in slight and perhaps somewhat dangerous dresses and some of the most outlandish hats I have ever seen grace a a lady's head. Perusing imagery from it reminds me to caution you to mind those heels during the race!)

There was the Grand National Horse Race yesterday (Sat) when small usually-Irish jockeys hang onto a nag and jump fences that shouldn't be so high. Many horses have died struggling over the Liverpudlian-hurdles and yet, it draws big crowds and bigger wagering.
At first, due to the mention of all the "wardrobe malfunctions", I thought it was a car race - NASCAR is where one finds the major part of such "flashing events" or "intentional wardrobe malfunctions" here in the states when it comes to sporting events. I have yet to understand what it is about fast things that make women's clothes fall off at random.
Congrats on breaking the logjam - in the past hour or so I've managed to move from my previous 5 paragraph sticking point to nearly a full fledged post. I must've just needed a priming.

Here in the UK, I know the horse racing occasion 'Royal Ascot' brings out strange dresswear and weird headgear. BIAD would have a field-day wandering among the gentry and dignitaries with his stupid grin and revealing hem-line. For most of the inbred wealthy Haw-haws, the discovery that he is a male would undoubtedly have the Man-Girl jumping the fences quicker than any stallion or gelding!
Think nothing of it regarding the log-jam. Oh no, I've just envisioned BIAD moving tree-trunks down the river the way the lumberjacks used to!! jumpy Back soon after a jolt of Jim Beam! ji52229ef5
Well! The post move didn't go well at all - it moved the post, but left it out of order in the story thread.
maybe if you could amble over there and copy and paste the post to the end of the thread instead of the beginning (in your account, so as to keep authorship straight), I can go delete the post there now in front of the OP so that the Opening Post of the thread actually opens it.

Thanks for helping me learn "mod stuff" I had not yet dealt with! It might not be the right way to git 'er done - I'm still looking into that - but it was ONE way of doing it, aaaand - got 'er done!

Threads are up, all is in order, and we're off!
There are proper ways and there are 'Neno' ways. But it always gets done!!
