Thanks, Glencairn! It was spread out a little over a few days already without really intending to be done that way. The other night, we got the idea to get a Ghiradelli cake mix box, bag of Andes baking mint chocolates mixed in the batter and made a Thin Mints cake (tasted exactly like Thin Mints! use good cake mix, it makes a flavor & density difference!) Friday, we had breakfast at Tim Horton's specifically for the b-day reason because Spyder insisted I pick somewhere, lol.
Aaaand we got a rabbit today (last second change of plans from guinea pigs because we got lucky) Supposed to be for the kids but...um...he's damn cute & the kids ain't hogging all the fluffy cute up
That makes it for me -- a good tweaked cake, a good breakfast out, and an adorable new buddy in the house. Good birthday and all before the actual day XD

Nyiah, Nice! You'll have to show us a picture of your new bunny, they can be great pets. We had a few when I was a kid and growing up (we had a random zoo of some variety most of the time when I was younger) and the bunnies were so much fun.
Nyiah, Happy Birthday! It sounds like a damn good day was had! Nice thing about rabbits versus guinea pigs- they don't learn to screech every time they hear the refrigerator door open!
Nugget, he's already associated the rustle of bags with his banana treats, he binkies all over the place as soon as he hears one rustle. He also binkies pretty much all the time as it is, he's a happy little fluff, bananas just make the day even better
He's not quite comfortable enough to come all the way out of his cage, he just hangs halfway out the door and snoops the immediate area before going back in. When he does come out, I've got the camera ready!
