Muslim males are raised from birth with an abuser's mind-set. All women and children are 'property' to them, to be treated any way they like.
They're raised with an 'entitlement' mentality, where all sorts of dispicable acts are rewarded by 'allah'.
The sheer number of men being raised this way is quite frightening, considering they are brainwashed to belive it is their 'duty' to allah to rid the world of non-muslims.
The only way anything will change for the better is if their brainwashing from birth is stopped. I don't think that will every happen.
