Genghis Khan was not supreme until he defeated his blood brother on the field of battle. He and his army overcame numerically superior army to win the day and to start the rane of terror for most of the world the Mongols represented.https://youtu.be/FEIC0IYZSng.
He and his Army almost totally wiped out the Muslim armies, civilization along with their hamlets and cities.
What if the Mongol empire and Genghis had never existed ?
I don't know if your video includes it, but one of the things we learned in a history course that looked at Alexander was a trick he used in early psychological warfare.
He had his armor craftsman create oversize sets of full battle armor. Then it would be intentionally dinged and damaged to indicate use while being worn by striking *LARGE* soldiers. His army would then casually drop these sets on the battlefield occasionally, as well as pieces of them in ways believable to find.
The end result, as we'd learned, was a part of what made him feared upon approach and helped him win battles that otherwise may have gone differently. Nothing like psyching out enemies before the first battle is opened.
I just spent most of the night watching these Great videos, Thank You!
I dunno why but I have always been drawn to some of history's figures. If reincarnation is a reality I am quite sure I died in battle many times before.. I even gave fate a chance this time around but alas it was not my destiny.. This time it seems to be the effects of growing old and watching my once smoothly functioning body turn to mush with finely veined arms that now resemble an elephants truck..!
I have turned into someone only my wife could really appreciate.. all the others just have sweet mouths and probably want money ! hahahah
The big historical figures that in today's world of history and their accomplishments are truly amazing...but.... the poor farmers who stood their ground and defeated the latest invaders are no less a hero IMO.. Just didn't get all the press or slaughter 40 million at a pop..nor build empires that given time were squandered away..
The horrendous death that has preceded this time in history is unbelievable... surprised we have not learned from history what one strong charismatic leader who is able to gather the thoughts and minds of a population can accomplish.. I suppose that is one reason many say religious wars have killed more than anything else... The next big one not counting the present religious nut jobs doing much of the mayhem in this world...will be... probably over money and resources..
Anyway thanks for taking the time to watch.. a little edited history is better than nothing, No?
We have floods down south and it has been raining so much around here I did not even go to the golf course today... Rainy day videos for me..

I think we've learned. I think a good % of the people don't care to see major change. Strength in leaders or the perception of it, is enough for most I come across in life. I'm a natural leader, and I have been for as long as I can recall (That isn't a brag, and some here will recognize what I mean to say...it isn't a blessing. It's a curse). I dunno what makes that or why some are and aren't...but for how few I've found like myself, I've come across endless followers who not only appreciate but LOOK FOR someone ...anyone...to follow.
That removes responsibility, a sense of consequence and any feeling of having to take ownership of outcomes. If someone else is followed, someone else is ultimately to blame when it all goes to crap ...or so I figure that thinking goes.
Anyway... Once in awhile, someone comes along in history who recognizes the opportunity that follower mindset creates, has the balls to take it, and the ruthlessness to keep it.
Good 'ol Alexander was worse than some, better than most and beyond question? One of the 'Greats' for historic leaders. Good or bad, he was Great in more than name.
