Love them both! I'm a 'crafty' person, too! Some day I will figure out the posting picture thing and share. You and I have very similar tastes!
P.S. Do you know why it says 'Solado' under our names?
I would love to see your crafts. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of my best work.
To post images from your computer, hit the regular reply button, not the quick reply. You will have options above in the reply box. I know there is an insert image button, but that doesn't work for me. Look to the far right of the reply box, above all the other buttons and you will see 'add attachment'. Click on that and you will be able to get pics from your picture file on your computer.
This is a quilt top I made a few years ago. I am determined to get it on my quilting machine in the near future. It's 4th in line on my bucket list. :)
So many projects, so little time!
@ Guohau; I did it! ( But only because this pic didn't need resizing, for some reason! (rofl) )
Thanks snarky! I could open a store with all the crafts I've done. LOL Comes in handy when it's Christmas or someone's birthday.
Have you tried flea markets or festivals? I know most people cringe when one mentions flea markets but it's a quick way to make some cash
I would suggest a kiosk at Christmas time in the mall but unfortunately the good ones cost too damn much
We used to do them 6 weeks before Christmas...made good money but then the mall we were in got greedy and upped the rent on us severly Needless to say, we found a cheaper mall but the traffic wasn't as good, which in turn meant we didn't do so good
Now we just hibernate at Christmas...yes, we stay away from the madness of it all since we no longer have to work in it!! HA Usually we do our Xmas shopping AFTER the new year. LOL...[great sales then too]
I have an 8 harness loom. Then I added about a 3' X 3' X 6.5' contraption to my loom that houses a ball of yarn for each warp thread. I got tired of having to rewarp the loom after only a few days of weaving--even with the longest practical warps. So, I prayerfully pondered a solution and that's what dropped in my mind. It works wonderfully. I can swap out a different color thread relatively easily. Now to get the thing moved over to Dad's . . . along with all my other stuff. Sigh. Taking me a longer than anticipated time. Sigh.
That is so cool! I am trying not to be too envious...... I wish I could watch you in action! There are spinning and weaving clubs in my area. I would love to check them out, but the last thing I need is another hobby! (rofl)
