Greetings Fellow Hernando's! I'm very happy to announce the opening of the Image Vault for general use of our membership. This system has been tested extensively and used by staff for quite some time now to insure it is stable for our site.
There is one bad side to this, and I'm sorry, but ProBoards doesn't allow other options without a spike in price for service we can't sustain for simply this one convenience (which is what it would amount to, for any meaning or benefit to us).
#1. You do need to have a second login to use this feature. (Members who were already registered at the time we initially open this will find accounts pre-made with default passwords to change from within the profile. Check your PM box for more information)
I hope you will find it powerful and flexible enough to make up for the annoyance of having to take the extra step. If not, there is certainly no requirement to participate in this area. It is going to be most useful for people who post images, videos and documents in threads.
Assuming you have logged into the image vault successfully, you will see a screen similar to this one:

D.) Sort My Pictures - When you have some images built up in an album, check back here for sorting options.
---
The circled buttons don't do much at the moment. However, as we add depth and perhaps some focus on member art and contests, the community aspect the buttons are there for will take on more importance.

1.) Goes to your personal gallery, and is where you'll start if you are coming into the gallery to view, edit or get the url for something already there.
2.) This is your Upload Button and what you'll often use first, coming in to save a file you have just screen captured or downloaded from somewhere else.
3.) Logout is self explanatory, but being complete helps, so here is where you logout! (Use the "Remember" check box on the front login page and do not log out. You should see this open normally with minimal need to re-enter your name or password.
---
A.) Create / Order My Albums - This is where you can add your very own sub-albums or sub-folders for organization. Make one or make a dozen, and you can make subs from each sub, to further categorize what you're making for a collection or group. Some of my own albums for face palms and other meme graphics are sorted into multiple folders for easy reference, as one idea.
B.) Modify My Albums - This opens your configuration area for albums, and we'll get to that in another related guide.
C.) My Profile - This is basically just stats and a password change utility. (IF YOU ARE USING AN ACCOUNT CREATED FOR YOU, VISIT THIS AREA FIRST AND CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD BEFORE DOING ANYTHING MORE).
