The Purpose of this thread is to discuss the potential idea that some of these performers utilize a demon to assist them with their controversial and stunning "magic tricks". This is in the devils advocate forum because I am not a believer in magic or an eternal war between demons and humanity or what ever the case may be. Xendrius on you tube has made a series of videos regarding this topic and I say he has compiled some really good street magic and has a creative commentary to go along with it to illustrate his point of view. Personally for me I say the hell with it, I'll defend his view point that there are demons helping magicians to undermine humanities belief in God, why not right?

As an old retired magician who never did it professionally but loved it as a hobby and did a few children shows because I love seeing the looks on the children's faces, *picking up chics in the bar* I can assure you it isn't that!
First off, I was an avid close up magician, versus those most of you see on tv as being "stage magicians". In other words, if I screwed up with my slight of hand routine, you pretty much had me nailed? Stage magicians spend way more money for their props and don't need to use their hands to the extent a close up magician does.
Also, Chris Angel? Is an insult to magicians! He uses camera's and editing to make his illusions look real.
I would say that the act of demons helping magicians do magic tricks to undermine the belief in God or whatever would be pointless since everyone knows that magic tricks are exactly that- tricks- and wouldn't believe there was demonic assistance. Honestly, have you ever thought such a thing when watching a magician or illusionist?

Alot of these illusions in the video series were picked to show that the props and sleight of hand are not factors in their magic. For example take the one video where David Copperfields trick is mimiced by the "masked magician" When comparing the supposed solution to Copperfields trick it is apparent that it is a really really terrible explanation as the trick is grander then anything the masked magician had done. Take the time and check out some of these videos, they are at the least a very impressive display of trickery no matter how you look at it.

For the sake of argument (the devils advocate) I don't know how they do alot of there tricks, why rule out Demons helping out? Did you watch the videos at all? Some of the things that are used in his series are by all accounts some really crazy "tricks" if they are in fact "tricks". I put my personal beliefs aside to defend the notion that demons may be in control of some magicians, prior to defending this notion, I never really thought much about magic or demons or the supernatural much.

I can see how you as a laymen would see it that way, but as an avid amateur who took the oath to not divulge the secrets, just as I took the oath to uphold the Constitution when I joined the military, can you not see how those like the "masked magician" are just pissed off has beens who because they weren't successful got pissed off and decided to make money by divulging the secrets they most likely took an oath to protect?
I am not saying I do not actually believe in "real magic" versus an entertainer who performs "illusions", but I just don't see anyone with "REAL" abilities to perform magic to do it on a stage for entertainment purposes.
You must understand that the way this theory is supposed to work, is that the "magician" does not have magic powers rather it is a demon that manipulates objects and assists with its demonic power. Now don't get me wrong here, just because I don't know how a trick works doesn't mean I go on a hinge here and say demons I will suggest though that some of these tricks are pretty wild and apparently has the effect of making people think that their are other forces at work. If this happens which it does happen it still reinforces the idea that performing some of these tricks question peoples faiths in this respect it is working if this is its intended purpose. Why do they perform tricks to mock the "miracles" of Christs time? Again it is to make Jesus look like a lowly magician etc etc

Let me tell ya something! I know quite a bit about magic from my past. I have seen some tricks that have been revised and changed that totally blew my mind lately!
What is sad?
I can go on Youtube if I know the name of the trick and find some pathetic pissed of magician wannabee telling the whole world how it is done!
I believe in ghosts, UFO's and even though I haven't directly experienced either of them to a point to prove they exist, I still believe in another dimension that is unknown to man but known to those who control us?
Magic though? As much as I want to believe in it, I just can't see it as even being possible until the populous get smart enough to NOT believe in government lies.
Magicians are creators of illusions. Nothing magical, or demonic about what they do. If you find one that does have those powers? I want 1 hour with that person!
I hear ya on the disgruntled magician doing cheap skate trick reveals which is an asshole thing to do. If people can channel spirits, ghosts, ufo's etc why not be able to call upon a demon to do magic for you? Normally I'd be right there with you on this but my position hasn't been altered, of course shouting and hollaring for proof will get us no where in terms of figuring out if this is going on or not because we are talking demons and magic tricks.

You have heard of Satan right? How he is so willing to devour the souls of Christians?
Well? I call BS on that too! As an ex Christian I got so pissed off at the hypocrisy of those telling me of my sins while watching them openly sin, I prayed to Satan to give me power in exchange for my soul! Guess what happened? NOTHING!
Trust me my friend, I have taken life and what I have been told it meant in the name of religion AND as a law abiding citizen believing in civilization and society and you know what? Being 52 years old?? It is all bullshit! There is no magic, there is no American dream! Being a good law abiding citizen means nothing more than being obedient to the rules that whatever society in charge deems to be appropriate!
I truly welcome a righteous magician/warlock/witch to change the corruption eating away at this world, but as much as I want to believe? I think it is all a stutter device. In other words, it pulls the responsibility of those of us who are living to fight for our freedom and gives us false hope that some magical creature or God will save us from our lack of ability to be brave enough to fight for what we call freedom?
Sorry, I know I went way off on a tangent there, but I think it fits?
Of course it fits, you have to remember I am the devils advocate here, my own personal views and beliefs i am trying to keep out of this as to maybe help me understand something wholly from another point of view. I again will say, that if the whole world believes the way you do and that it is all BS then the devil or the demons have been doing their job successfully. The purpose of the demons striking deals with certain people is exactly that to undermine peoples beliefs in God and all that. Apparently they extend to not just magicians but also actors and musicians as well. For the sake of this thread though I'm just sticking to magicians.

Love that!
I am glad you can recognize I am only speaking from my experiences in my 52 years of life and not claiming to be an expert! I don't believe shit I have read from a book! I do believe in what I have experienced in life though, and sharing it with others is important to me.

Another thing to look at here are the "debunkers" or Disgruntled assholes giving away trade secrets solutions to some illusions. They do not appear to be as grand and in alot of cases "the props" used by the debunker are not very much like the original trick often done live in front of thousands of people and not behind the scenes in a warehouse or whatever.

I will say whether or not demonic or just really dope ass illusions, some of the stuff these people do are amazing as hell! As long as everyone across the board agrees magic tricks are dope as hell we have found common ground on this particular issue 7/39

I will say I started watching video and got distracted by the telephone, however my opinion doesn't change. The possibility exists that some of the magic could actually be real but that doesn't invoke thoughts of demons. Why would one assume that assistance from demons would be necessary to create magic? Why would the assistance of ANY alternate dimension being be necessary? Maybe if the magic in some cases IS real it comes from within the performer with no assistance whatsoever.
