I took the pictures below, September, 2013, of this bright, orange "thing" in the sky that had captured my attention.
I had been noticing it for almost a week at that time so I decided to take some pictures and look at it close up.
I had my camera sitting on my car so I wouldn't shake it. It looks like that's what happened, but I don't see how; the camera was completely still.
While taking the pictures, the object flashed once, moved up and down, and then almost disappeared, but came back bright as ever; like it was traveling further away from Earth, then returning.
There were no clouds in the sky to make it "appear" as if it was fading out.
I posted this on TOS at the time and got some responses that pretty much convinced me that the picture appeared this way because the camera moved when I snapped it. I reluctantly accepted that answer and forgot about it.
BUT...
Yesterday I came across this article about a UFO showing almost the same thing I saw; so now I have to wonder if I really did capture a UFO... finally?!
The first picture looks like whatever it is, it's being seen from it's right side, with the right side profile of it's face.
It appears that it rolled over facing me in the second picture.
This one gives me the willies!!! It looks like some kind of space creature with a head and glowing eyes staring at me!
You can see it has a body, arms that look like they go down in front of it with it's hands clasped together, and legs with one foot on top of the other!
What the heck is that thing?!
And why are there small "dots" in the first picture, but not the other one? What is that?
What do you guys/gals think after comparing my pictures to the one in the article?
They have been blown up for a closer look.
Now here is the photo from the article. You'll get an even better idea of how this thing moves by watching the video from the source:
