“He created beings and allowed them to develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one, so that they were able to develop and to arrive and their fullness of being. He gave autonomy to the beings of the universe at the same time at which he assured them of his continuous presence, giving being to every reality. And so creation continued for centuries and centuries, millennia and millennia, until it became which we know today, precisely because God is not a demiurge or a magician, but the creator who gives being to all things.”
As Tom Horn and Cris Putnam et al . . . and lil ol moi . . . have predicted for quite some time . . . the Pope is increasingly clear in his support of the fallen angels as good critters.
I like this Pope but I deplore his being on the side of forces from hell vis a vis the fallen angels, global government etc.
Father Coyne, a scientist and Jesuit priest, contemplates God, telescopes, mirrors, and extraterrestrial life.
by Margaret Wertheim
For close to a quarter century, Father George Coyne has been director and senior scientist at the Vatican Observatory Research Group, a small but intensive unit of cosmologists and astronomers funded by the Holy See. A wiry and energetic man who entered into Jesuit training at the age of eighteen, Coyne is the son of a working-class family from Baltimore and is still slightly dazzled to find himself at the epicenter of Catholic life. In looking to the stars, Coyne sees his life as a natural outgrowth of what Ignatius of Loyola, the Jesuit's founder, famously called "our way of proceeding." Ignatius stressed that a central aspect of Jesuit life was the concept of "ministry," or service to the wider community. For the original Jesuits of the sixteenth century that meant tending the poor and the sick; for Coyne and his Vatican colleagues, their ministry is astronomy. .
The Vatican Observatory Research Group (VORG) is officially headquartered at Castel Gandolfo, a fortified castle perched on the rim of an extinct volcano an hour outside Rome. Formerly owned by the Medici, the castle now serves as the Pope's summer palace and the VORG's spiritual home. Last summer, I made the trip to Coyne's second home, in Tucson, Arizona. There, light years away from Roman opulence, the VORG conducts its research from a small suite of offices at the University of Arizona's Steward Observatory. Rome and Tuscon, Catholicism and cosmology-Coyne moves effortlessly between the two worlds, insisting that "nothing we learn about the universe through science threatens our faith. It only enriches it."

Dear Ai4ren2,
You've entered into one of the most significant puzzles I'm facing in my memory. Who is this Pope? There have been a number of areas in which I've wondered at the meaning behind his words, and I've been waiting for some actions to show me which way he's going. I'm sure I've missed some things, but his recent Extraordinary Synod on the Family leaves me thinking that something has gone wrong.
Some commentators are describing a Progressive - Conservative split, with Pope Francis on the Progressive side. I'm tending to believe that as well. I'm more concerned about that than I am about the Church's attitude towards aliens. For a long time the Church was seen as the most significant conservative, traditional force in the world. My guess is that Pope Francis wants to change that. I'm not certain that's a good thing. We've got thousands of progressive religions. What progressive religion can stand against Islam if needed.
Aliens? Well, they might be fallen angels, it's a possibility, and not as crazy as many I saw on TOS. But, could at least some aliens be just creatures, like horses or dolphins, or even some cousin to Man? If so, I can understand the Church saying "We've got to learn about this!" They would try to find out if they were dealing with a fallen race like ours, whether some provision had been made for their salvation, if they believe in Heaven and Hell. Whatever their beliefs, we would learn so much.
And if they are fallen angels, well, I saw a poster which said something like "Sure, laugh at Catholics . . . until you need an exorcism." The Church still knows how to do exorcisms, and has priests which perform them regularly.
Oh, Benedict XVI? The Church doesn't have any stupid Cardinals. Getting that job proves you're very intelligent. Everyone of them agrees on the power of Benedict's mind. And if the Cardinals, the Press, and everyone else agrees with that, he may well have been one of the most brilliant men of the last hundred years.
--A very quick reply . . . off to a Lowe's run for some primer paint.
imho . . . one thing that has helped me the most in my study of globalism, the END TIMES, UFO's etc. over the 4+ decades . . . whereas initially there was sooo much puzzling to confusing information.
. . . has been to
Look at the Biblical description of our era in Revelation, Daniel and Ezekiel as well as the shorter prophetic books at the end of the O.T.
What is the general picture in terms of the main themes, structures, goals of satan etc.
Then to step back and look at all the forces moving overtly and covertly toward those goals.
At some point, it doesn't matter how glib or thick the white wash and rationalizations . . . if it's moving the ball in the direction of satan's goals . . .
personally, I don't want to touch whatever that contribution to his END GAME is.
