Members and staff have voted, choosing their Top 3 Favorite Entries.

The Voting Poll is now locked.


We would also like to announce that all entries have been voted on from non participating staff. Your entries have been evaluated on a point basis for:


• Originality (max 10 points)
• Creativity (max 10 points)
• Cleanliness / Spelling & general structure (max 10 points)
• Keeping Reader’s interest (as in…We want more!!!) (max 10 points)


The voting schedule ended January 25th 2015 at Midnight Eastern Time and both the voting poll and point system has determined our top three winners.

1st Place:


• Charles 1952 deserves the very First “Writer Summa Cum Laude” Tag Award which means “with Highest Honor”.


• Will receive 3 “Outstanding Writing” Awards.


• Will have a choice to read his story (if short enough and if time is available) on Hernando’s Hideaway affiliate Radio Shows.


• Will have his/her story linked in Hernando’s Hideaway’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.


• Will get to choose the next Writer Cum Laude Contest Theme.



2nd Place:


• Nugget deserves the very First “Writer Magna Cum Laude" Tag Award which means “with Great Honor”.

• Will receive 2 “Outstanding Writing” Awards.


3rd Place:


• 727sky deserves the very First “Writer Cum Laude" Tag Award which means “with Honor”.

• Will receive 1 “Outstanding Writing” Award.
